At times, hardwood flooring can feel and look hard, or even cold. We have products and processes
that can soften this feeling, both physically and visually. A floor that has been distressed,
scraped or wire brushed can soften the feel of the wood on your bare or stockinged feet.
Surface treatments can be chosen individually or they can be combined to achieve the look and
feel that’s right for you.
Not only do these treatments bring out the natural beauty of the wood, highlighting the grain
and natural color variations, added texture can also help to hide imperfections and scratches,
making it an ideal choice for high-traffic areas.

pre-finishing your floor before installation has many benefits and this is where Custom
Craft stands above the rest. We are home to Colorado’s only flatline finishing facility and
this gives us the ability to do what most cannot.
We utilize a large range of finishing options, all with specific benefits and intended
purposes. These options include industrial stains, reactive stains, hardwax oils, UV cured
oils and urethanes, and LED oils, just to name a few. We can mix and match these products to
target the specific goals of your project.
CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT Eliminate the hassle of dust, fumes and cure times. Our facility eliminates many environmental factors such as temperature and humidity fluctuations as well as light contamination, providing a more precise and predictable outcome.
