At Custom Craft, designing the perfect floor is as simple as:
STEP 1 | Choosing the platform STEP 2 | Selecting the surface treatment
STEP 1 | PICK THE PLATFORM
We supply a large range of engineered and solid hardwood products. Whether you’re looking to create an old-world rustic feel, or you’re looking to compliment a busy, modern lifestyle, we have the products you’re looking for. Know that whether you choose engineered or solid hardwood flooring, you win either way.
Solid Hardwood
Engineered Wood
Formats
No matter which option you choose—engineered or solid hardwood—you’re investing in quality and beauty that lasts.
Construction
Solid hardwood is made from a single piece of natural wood, while engineered wood has multiple layers.
Custom Craft Bonus: Our engineered floors feature a balanced 3-ply construction. The top and bottom layers use the same wood species for strength, with a transverse middle layer for superior dimensional stability.
Durability
Solid wood is extremely durable while engineered wood is highly stable and resists warping.
Refinishing
Both solid and engineered hardwood can be sanded and refinished multiple times.
Appearance
Engineered hardwood looks identical on the surface—no compromise on style.
